Pigs

The three piggies of the famous folk tale have grown up and are now seen on the streets of the city, looking for a new house. And making a joke about the old wolf, who doesn’t blow like he used to. After all these years you could say that they are old friends and everything has become a game!

An old tale renewed to giant measure, ‘hooligan’ and full of tenderness. Urban impact game show and interaction with the public, aimed at all audiences, around the popular story “The three little pigs”.

The little pigs represent the different realities of our society and move with the materials to build their houses. The Wolf is shown as an aging wolf where the game predominates in their relationship of love and hate with the piggies. It is not intended to decide who is the good or the bad in this story. A very dynamic and visually fun touring show.

Rats!

Attention! Rats have invaded the city. They appear everywhere: from trees, from houses, from containers. and they’re in the middle of the street in daylight. They’re no longer hiding and they’re giants!

They have taken the city and there is no rat-killer to serve. Only one person can take this plague: a flute player who comes from a far away country. But they look like really funny rats!

Rats! is an itinerant street show, based on the traditional story “The Pied Piper”. A giant and hooligan version of history, in which the rats make their own with everything they find, following the steps of the flute player who guides them from the heights with his flute.

There are four different rats, each with its own personality. They come to play with people and everything around them. Rats! is a fun show, dynamic, visual and for all ages.

Asteroid

A meteorite has hit the road. Scientific police make a first approach and extract some samples. But unexpected things start to happen. A show that, through absurd humor, faces the way we relate to the unknown, and the human need to understand the world around us. Or is it better not to understand anything and get carried away with the adventure?

Production directed by Toti Toronell, which combines puppets and actors, physical theatre and clown with the aim of achieving a surprising and transformative impact in the public space, through humor as a tool of social cohesion. A thrilling adventure for the whole family!

We claim the street as a space for cultural action and humor as a tool for creating positive collective experiences. We transform public space with visually original and impactful proposals.

Tangram

The TANGRAM, also known as The Wisdom Puzzle or The Seven Boards of Cunning, is a well-known jigsaw of Chinese origin whose objective is to reproduce a suggested figure using the seven pieces of the puzzle. There is, at the same time, totally freedom to build different figures. This represents a game that develops greatly the creativity. It is also said that the Tangram has its origin in the theatrical performances that took place in the Ancient China. Those performances were made with puppets, so they could represent inanimate objects, animals or people in movement.

The TANGRAM is also the name of the new show by TOC DE RETRUC. The basis of this show is the same concept of the game: we play to play, not only with the figures that we can form with the Board, turning them into objects with life, but also with all the elements of the stage. Like this, the stage game mixes up with the musical game, forming a mosaic of scenes where the plastic arts, the rhythm, the music and the interpretation lead us to a world of fantasy, making a show full of power and audible and visual beauty that will mark the young audience, to whom the show is specially addressed to.

TANGRAM is performed by five actors, who are at the same time musicians and dancers, and it is addressed to a family audience with no age limitations.

Loops

Zig and Zag are two characters who look for something. They are moved by curiousity. One carries a heavy package on her back, which makes her walk slowly but steadily. The other one does not carry anything except a little box on her head, where she stores everything she lives through. The first one is experience, the other one is inexperience. One plays the cello, the other one the flute. When one already comes back, the other one is still on her way. Circling around the world, they will meet. This will make them grow: one will get empty, while the other one will be filled. LOOPS is a game about how the time passes by, a hymn to life and to the idea of continuity and inheritance narrated through objects, live music, puppets and actresses.

Welcome to the post office Postcode 00, a very special post office where letters and packages arrive from all over the world. If something scares you, or warms your heart, or looks for an ear to be listened… you only need to write it down in a letter and the post ladies from Postcode 00 will lead it to a good destination! In this post office you will discover countless stories: about love, trips, mystery… A unique and magical experience in the world of communication between people!

At the end of the show, each child will be able to write and send a letter to the Post mailbox, and in return, they will be able to take a letter from another child who has seen the show elsewhere and who had left a message.

POST is a STREET performance with no words suitable for all ages. It is a story made of little stories, where three actresses will show us the magic behind postal communication by means of puppets, music and corporal theatre (masks, dance). In a world where animals and people live together, we encounter hippopotamuses that choose a middle path. Are they humans disguised as the animal they wear? Or are they hippos that are searching for themselves inside of the individual that inhabits their body?

Join these hippos on a physical journey that could be a fable, a metaphor, the preliminary reflection for a doctoral thesis on humanity and animality or, simply, a chance for all audiences to find themselves, and be a little lonelier, but in better company.
