A pioneering dance company that creates performances for children. Thirty-three years working to ensure the artistic quality of our creations and that our audience deserves, and to bring dance to all generations, it is for both reasons that in 2007 the artistic director and founder of the company, Marta Almirall, was awarded with the National Culture Prize in the Dance section by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Roseland has produced fifteen dance performances of different formats, disciplines, and themes, which have travelled across the globe. Throughout all these years we have collaborated screenwriters such as David Cirici and Manuel Veiga, visual artists such as Perico Pastor and Montse Ginesta, composers such as Jose Manuel Pagán, and visual artists such as Franc Aleu, all of them at the service of dance and choreography as a fundamental part of our shows.
Roseland has been adapting its artistic language to the new generations always looking for an emotional connection with the audience.
